How do you mend a friendship?

I need some input on how to mend a friendship that has been broken..ive sent numerous emails apologizing for everything that happened on my end .. but the friend will NOT respond to me ..how can a friend of 10 years just let it go ? how can she not forgive and forget? mind you it was things said on both our part.i really miss her so much but she isn't willing i guess ..should i let it go ? what should i do?

if you respect your friend you allow him/her the decision they have taken and move on knowing your paths crossed for a reason, for a time, and that the interaction enhanced you both....but not everything is forever

yeah i know not everything is forever...seems kind of odd tho to me...if one person just walks away from a friendship and the other is hanging... the one left has much to consider

if they both realized that from the onset and the ending it could be different tho

i agree that people grow and change...ive changed drastically.... but I know how Twi feels, I look at my own life today and I see something similar... I drive by her house every day...and yet, Ive had to move on....

Life is hard but good...

it seems like if i would admit my faults. apologize and being sincere about it .that she could too.we have been best friends for 10 yrs we got into a lil spat and haven't talked for a year and 5 months .during that time ive tried 2 times to get her to talk to me ,she will not answer my emails,calls ect. ive asked her to please talk to me ..to no avail.
either i really didn't mean nothing to her during those 10 years or she is willing to throw it all away over a stupid lil spat.it don't make since to me but i know in my heart i tried ..i have found forgiveness in her.so i guess i'll let it alone and carry on with my life.ive tried i can't make someone like me .its just gonna be hard to find a friend like she was *sigh*

I disagree. She isn't being a very good friend at all. You will sweet one. A more deserving friend i'm sure.
